The Venue - Itha108 yoga and creative resort
Ithaca, home of our venue Itha108 is one of the smallest islands in the Ionian Sea constellation that radiates Greek beauty and authenticity .Elevated in a wilderness of olive trees, our venue overlooks the ocean and the eastern shores of Kefalonia .
Here is a specific place for peace, surrounded by natural beauty with panoramic views and secret beaches and hidden secluded coves with clear blue waters, just minutes away below the venue .
Ithaca is host to a long mythical history ,Homers ‘epic poem “The Odyssey”is the story of King Odysseus ,who finally has a great homecoming to Ithaca after his long absence at the war in Troy and then his return voyage home which took him another ten years .His astonishing adventure is marked by many changes of fortunes along the way and he learns a great deal about himself and the world
“The Odyssey” is almost a perfect definition of life and this special retreat in Ithaca is dedicated to your own spiritual quest and homecoming ,to the wanderings and the adventures of your precious heart .
“As you set out on your journey to Ithaca, pray that your journey be a long one, filled with adventure, filled with discovery.”
Constantine P. Cavafy:
Itha108 unfolds like a series of gentle discoveries, where open horizons meet quiet, contemplative spaces, allowing each guest to move at their own rhythm. Views shift between the deep blues of the Ionian Sea and the soft, dappled shade of wild oak trees.
Created as a sanctuary for yoga, creativity, and mindful practice — as well as the beloved home of our host, Ingrid — this unparalleled luxury retreat invites guests to unwind in peaceful shaded nooks, thoughtfully designed terraces, and spaces that open onto endless sea views.
Every corner of Itha108 is designed to inspire stillness, comfort, and a profound connection to the island’s natural beauty.

Jed Fox is a yoga teacher, educator, and group facilitator known for creating environments of depth, safety, and meaningful transformation. She holds a BA (Hons) in Creative and Performing Arts, over 550 hours of yoga certifications, a Diploma in Mindfulness, and additional qualifications in Shiatsu, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Swedish massage, and Clarity Breathwork.
Born in the UK and shaped by years of travel, Jed first encountered Ashtanga yoga in India in 1992—a practice that has remained a steady anchor throughout her life. Her daily sadhana integrates the Ashtanga primary series with elements of the intermediate series, complemented by dedicated days of Hatha Yoga, focused Pranayama, and occasional Yin.
In 2010, during her time living in PachaMama, Costa Rica, Jed was introduced to the Path of the Heart, the Red Road, and the Moon Dance, entering a profound field of shamanic practice that continues to inform her work. She further deepened her studies through the Medicine Wheel, Tibetan Buddhist shamanic traditions, and Sufi mystical teachings, enriching the spiritual and ceremonial dimensions of her offerings.
With a grounded and attentive presence, Jed integrates decades of multidisciplinary experience to support participants in exploring their practice with clarity, integrity, and meaningful depth.

The Yoga
The Yoga
We will spend our early mornings and sunset sessions exploring meditation, pranayama, asana, mantra, yoga philosophy, and the teachings of the Medicine Wheel. The practice is suitable for all levels — we come as we are, and we do what we can. If you are injured, exhausted, or truly need rest, please speak with me so I can support you.
Our yoga journey weaves classical Hatha teachings with the wisdom of Sufism, Buddhism, the Five Elements, and the Medicine Wheel, offering a grounded yet soulful approach.
Morning Practice
We begin with meditation and pranayama, followed by a short tea break, then move into our morning asana practice. Afterwards, the day is yours to rest, swim, or explore.
Evening Practice
Our sunset sessions include yin and restorative yoga, mantra, group work, journaling, and Yoga Nidra. I draw upon the Five Elements, Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Four Directions, and the Medicine Wheel throughout the week.
The theme of our time together — “The Odyssey of the Heart” — unfolds like a ceremony, inviting an inner journey of love, loss, healing, renewal, and rebirth.
We will rotate between shalas to enjoy the best views and shifting island light.

The Altar
The Altar
The altar of our lives is a quiet centrepoint for what we honour. Our shared altar reflects this, holding offerings and intentions that trace the Odyssey of the Heart. It becomes the energetic heart of our space—a place of alignment and remembrance, inviting each participant to connect with what is meaningful in their own journey....More information will be offered to those who book the retreat.
Food Philosophy
Organic, local food is at the heart of Itha108. Fresh produce from Ithaca and neighbouring Kefalonia forms the basis of our plentiful, home-cooked meals, where traditional Greek flavours meet a light, contemporary touch. Retreat cuisine is primarily vegetarian, with freshly caught fish available on request.
