TRUE NATURE

Weekend 6th - 8th June 2025

A weekend well spent..

HOME

A weekend of goodness, yoga, meditation, relaxation, nourishing organic food,

massages and country walks in the beautiful Cotswolds

Hidden away at the end of a long and winding country track, just outside the peaceful hamlet of Foscot, Brock Cottage is a bohemian and eclectic retreat in a magical setting.  Lying within the Foxholes Nature Reserve, this is a place of blissful woodland seclusion with plenty of country walks and sweeping lawns to immerse in the delightful nature.

The cottage is perfect for a small group of yogis. The spacious interior is vibrant and unique and includes a fabulous open-plan kitchen-living room, warmed by a huge wood burning stove and flanked by a wall of sliding glass doors that open fully to the enclosed garden.  The owner, an artist grew up in the Ashram of Ramana Maharishi and her grandfather translated Maharishis books in to English, so the house is decorated with fabrics and touches from her travels in India and the world. With her art works, there is a personal touch of a loving home rich with experience and style.

The building is bathed in natural light thanks to the huge windows and multitude of skylights throughout.  The  pretty patio  with a wisteria-strewn pergola is surrounded by the sound of birdsong and the wind in the trees, it’s a wonderful spot for alfresco dining on warm summer evenings.  This enclosed, beautifully natural garden offers an abundance of space and privacy, with stunning woodland walks through the Foxholes Nature Reserve start at the end of the drive.
